As an electrician in our Mill-wide Services team at Stegra Boden, you are responsible for installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of medium and high voltage systems that power both production equipment and electrical distribution. The role is central to ensuring safe and efficient operation of switchgear, transformers, and distribution stations. You work in accordance with applicable safety regulations, ESA, LOTOTO principles, and established work procedures, and actively contribute to the facility's operational reliability and development. Your work tasks include: Install, maintain, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on medium and high voltage systems. Inspect and ensure the function of electrical equipment such as machinery, transformers, switchgear, protection relays, and MV/HV stations. Troubleshoot electrical problems using drawings, schematics, relay protection documentation, and measuring equipment. Repair and replace defective components, such as cabling, circuit breakers, control panels, switchgear, motors, and transformers. Perform switching work in medium and high voltage in accordance with Swedish regulations, ESA, and Stegra's competency requirements. Ensure a safe working environment by following electrical safety regulations, LOTOTO procedures, and using proper protective equipment. Document performed maintenance, switching actions, and LOTOTO interventions. Collaborate with colleagues and other functions to continuously improve maintenance work and operational reliability. We're looking for someone who has: Vocational training in electrical work with experience in industrial maintenance. Post-secondary education in electrical power is a plus but not required. Relevant certifications and training for work with medium and high voltage according to Swedish regulations, such as ESA and switching authorization. At least three years of experience as an industrial electrician in heavy industry, preferably in steel, mining, pulp, or paper industry or other process industry. Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and operating medium and high voltage systems, including switchgear, transformers, and protection systems. Good knowledge of LOTOTO and a solid understanding of Swedish and European electrical safety and workplace environment regulations. High safety awareness and ability to work independently in elevated-risk environments. A structured and thorough work approach and good problem-solving skills. Good collaboration skills and enjoy working in a team. Physical ability to work at heights and in demanding industrial environments with relevant protective equipment. Good English language skills. Swedish language skills are a plus.
