We, who are looking for a new colleague, work within the Finance operations, which is part of the Municipal Administration Office. The operations include financial administrators and economists who, together with the Finance Manager, are responsible for the municipality's overarching and strategic financial work – as well as operational support to the municipality's services. We work together, support each other, and take shared responsibility for the whole. We have close collaboration with colleagues in the organization and with our elected officials. Our workplace is located in the municipal building in Östhammar, with some possibility for remote work. 1 position(s). WORK TASKS Your daily work includes, among other things: • Ongoing financial monitoring and analysis of operations • Financial statements, budget, and forecast work • Drive and participate in development projects • Promote automation and digitalization of our processes and routines • Preparation and development of decision-making documents • Financial reporting to committees and municipal council • Support to the municipality's managers on financial matters • Participation in certain financial matters, such as bookkeeping, invoice management, and procurement • Investigation and analysis work based on your experience • Government grant administration You actively contribute to developing and improving our processes, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and good service to the operations. QUALIFICATIONS You who are applying should have higher education in economics or other experience that we consider equivalent. You should also have a good understanding of accounting flows and are experienced in working in business systems. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. It is advantageous if you have experience with independent work in the field of economics, investigations and analyses, and have participated in the digitalization of financial processes. As a person, we think you find it easy to adapt to new or changed circumstances and requirements. You are flexible and see opportunities in change. We would like to see that you set goals for yourself and work actively to achieve them. You are motivated and show enthusiasm for your tasks. You are calm, attentive, and accommodating. Of course, you have an interest in helping others and make an effort to deliver. Since we work with managers and operations throughout our organization, we see that you are a person who has the ability to work together with others across boundaries, both internally and with external stakeholders.
