Spånga Health Center is a primary care facility within the Stockholm County Care Area (SLSO). The health center is conveniently located near commuter train and bus services, 12 minutes by commuter train from Stockholm Central Station. Our service area includes Solhem, Bromsten, Sundby, and Flysta, where the buildings have a small-town character. The clinic is well-staffed, and most of our patients are offered permanent assignment to a physician. We are an established clinic with just over 44 employees. District nurses, nurses, specialist physicians in general medicine, ST-doctors, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries work with us. The health center also has a psychosocial team. We have approximately 17,200 registered patients and a home care service with approximately 130 patients. It consists of alternating work at the clinic and telephone advice in TeleQ with the possibility of remote work. There is an opportunity to have your own asthma/COPD clinic or diabetes clinic if you have relevant training. A district nurse has a central role in preventive and health-promoting work, such as vaccinations, health checks, and advice on lifestyle changes. District nurses at the health center often serve as the first contact for patients seeking care. As a district nurse, you may also be involved in educating other nurses, nursing students, and sometimes physicians in various aspects of primary care. Qualifications District nurse with experience in primary care and home care. You should also have good computer skills and experience with the TakeCare medical record system.
