Your Assignment As a general practitioner at Stenhagen Health Center, you will have a central role in providing person-centered care to patients of all ages, with a particular focus on promoting health and preventing disease. With us, you will work with a wide range of medical issues, from acute and chronic conditions to preventive health care and follow-ups. Your role also includes close collaboration with our child health clinic (BVC), where you become a trusted and long-term contact for our youngest patients and their families. As a district physician within Region Uppsala, the position includes serving at our on-call clinics and emergency reception. Your Qualifications We are looking for you with specialist competence in general medicine; it is an asset if you have experience in primary care. You enjoy working in a team with the patient at the center and would like to contribute to the development of the operations. As a person, you are organized and can make medical assessments with confidence and professionalism. As a person, you are also attentive, empathetic, and good at building trusting relationships, both with patients and colleagues. You have good communication skills and value collaboration and knowledge exchange with the entire team to achieve the best possible care for patients. We are looking for someone who is flexible and solution-oriented and who takes responsibility for developing both your own competence and care at the unit. In addition to being a good communicator and mastering Swedish, it is an advantage if you have additional language skills. Your desire to develop primary care together with other staff at the health center will be valuable to us. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
