Your responsibilities consist of clinic work with good opportunities for other stimulating tasks such as supervision of BT/AT/ST physicians and responsibility for various clinical processes based on your interests. As part of the work, you will participate in developing our operations and have good opportunities to influence work arrangements and scheduling, thereby shaping your work environment. On-call duty and standby work are also part of the role, as they are throughout primary care in Region Uppsala. We offer the possibility to work partially remotely. If interested, there is an opportunity to combine your work at the health center with work at the Närvårds Unit, which is a care ward located at the health center. Your Qualifications We are looking for a physician with specialist competence in general medicine with Swedish medical license and good ability to communicate in Swedish in speech and writing. Since we are now at a stage where we have great opportunities to develop our operations, it is meritorious if you have an interest in health care development with focus on patients and patient flows. It is also beneficial if you appreciate working in teams around patients with other professions to create efficient flows. We place great importance on personal qualities. Our Operations We are the health center with great opportunities and we are looking for you who wants to develop with us! Primary care is provided at our health center facility which consists of a health center, emergency clinic, near-care unit, and short-term care unit, and we have X-ray and laboratory in the same building. We are located by the sea in a archipelago environment in Östhammar with good connections, approximately 70 km from Uppsala. The bus stops nearby and there is free parking at the health center. All professions work closely together here to provide the best possible care and you can become part of our team! We have approximately 6500 listed patients and we are 30 employees offering most services within primary care. We have well-functioning nurse-led clinics.
