Your tasks include outpatient clinic work with good opportunities for other stimulating assignments such as supervising BT/AT/ST physicians and responsibility for various clinical processes based on your interests. As part of the work, you will be involved in developing our operations and have good opportunities to influence work arrangements and scheduling, thereby having the ability to shape your work environment. The role also includes some on-call duties/standby service as is the case throughout primary care in Region Uppsala. Your Qualifications We are looking for a physician with specialist competence in general medicine with Swedish medical license and good ability to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. Since we are currently in a phase where we have significant opportunities to develop our operations, it is meritorious if you have an interest in healthcare development with patients and patient flows in focus. It is also beneficial if you appreciate working in teams with other professionals around patients to achieve effective flows. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. Our Operations Heby Health Center is part of the Primary Care and Health Department, Region Uppsala, and is located in western Uppland with approximately 7,000 listed patients and a team of 30 employees. Our operations are broad with all professional areas represented within the health center's mission. We also have a youth clinic. At Heby Health Center, we work to maintain a good work environment with "open-door policy" and satisfied patients. We work in close collaboration between all professions with the guiding principle of "freedom with responsibility" where you have great opportunity to influence your work situation as long as the operations' goals are met. The broad variety of patients creates a stimulating and developmental workplace. We have diabetes, asthma/COPD, and heart failure nurses with their own clinics, an elderly care clinic, and a district nurse working with hypertension patients. We also work with targeted health conversations for 40-year-olds. With us, you will have a patient list with a maximum of 1,100 patients.
