Your duties will consist of outpatient clinic work with good opportunities for other stimulating tasks such as supervising BT/AT/ST physicians and responsibility for various clinical processes based on your interests. As part of the work, you will be involved in developing our operations, and there are good opportunities to influence work schedules and booking systems, thereby allowing you to influence your work environment. The position also includes some on-call/standby duties as is the case throughout primary care in Region Uppsala. Your Qualifications We are looking for a physician with specialist competence in general medicine with Swedish license and good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Since we are now at a stage where we have great opportunities to develop our operations, it is meritorious if you have an interest in healthcare development with patients and patient flows in focus. It is also beneficial if you appreciate working in teams around patients with other professions to achieve efficient flows. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. Our Operations Heby Health Center is part of the Primary Health and Care division of Region Uppsala and is located in western Uppland with approximately 7,000 listed patients and 30 employees working in teams. Our operations are broad and all professional areas within the health center's scope are represented. We also have a youth clinic. Here at Heby Health Center, we work to maintain a good work environment with "open-mindedness" and satisfied patients. We work in close collaboration among all professions, and a guiding principle is "freedom with responsibility" where you have great opportunity to influence your work situation as long as the operations' goals are met. The wide variety of patients creates a stimulating and developing workplace. We have diabetes, asthma/COPD, and heart failure nurses with their own clinics, an elderly clinic, and a district nurse working with hypertension patients. We also work with targeted health conversations for 40-year-olds. With us, you will have a patient list of a maximum of 1100 patients. We have physician meetings every week where we prioritize professional development and collegial collaboration. The management group consists of a department head, group manager, and MLA.
