WORK RESPONSIBILITIES Do you want to use your digital skills to make a real difference in people's everyday lives? Do you have a pedagogical approach and enjoy meeting people where they are? Then you could be our new Digital Support Specialist, an important role in working toward a more digitally inclusive society. Hammarö Municipality actively works to ensure no one is left behind in the digital society. We want to create conditions for all residents to feel safe and included in an increasingly digital everyday life. As a Digital Support Specialist, you play a central role in this work. In this role, you work both closely with residents and together with municipal operations. You primarily meet people aged 75 and older as well as people with disabilities, supporting them through home visits, advice, and training. Your mission is to strengthen their digital security, independence, and participation. You are also part of the municipality's senior reception service. In parallel, you have an important internal role where you contribute to developing and strengthening digital competence across municipal operations. You support colleagues in using digital technology and welfare technology, and contribute to developing work methods by gathering needs, following up on initiatives, and suggesting improvements. Examples of work tasks: • Support residents with installation and use of digital devices such as smartphones, tablets, computers, printers, routers, and smart TVs • Guide residents in using digital public services, for example 1177 • Help people get started with Mobile BankID and other digital services • Show how to make video calls • Assist with online shopping and ordering, for example medications • Provide advice on smart home solutions • Conduct simple training sessions, group meetings, or individual tutorials • Support colleagues in the municipality to feel confident with digital tools As the Municipality's Digital Support Specialist, you are part of the technology team and participate in APT meetings, training, and other forums. When needed, you cover the alarm technician's tasks in consultation with your manager, for example during absence. Employment type: Permanent position Scope: 100% Start date: As soon as possible, by agreement QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • At least upper secondary school diploma • Good digital skills and experience using different types of technology • Experience teaching IT in a pedagogical and clear way • Class B driver's license (manual transmission) Merit factors: • Knowledge of welfare technology or digital technology in elderly care • Experience working with this target group We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
