About the position Meliva Kungshörnet is a health center with a holistic perspective, conveniently located near public transportation and green spaces. We work with dedicated doctors, nurses, psychologists, and healthcare assistants in a professional team focused on the patient's best interests. We're looking for you as a licensed nurse with good computer skills and experience in outpatient care. You have specialist training or standalone courses in diabetes. If you have previous experience working in diabetes care, that's a plus. In our clinic, you'll work alongside other professionals. As a diabetes nurse, you'll plan your own clinic hours and conduct follow-up visits/telephone availability. The work also requires educational initiatives with these patients. You'll meet patients of all ages and handle everything from acute symptoms to follow-up for chronic conditions. You'll become a key person in our work with preventive and health-promoting interventions through project management, assessments, and lifestyle counseling.
