One of the Army Staff's focus areas is building the new Army. An army that focuses on the Army's operational capabilities in the field and in this build new as well as restructure existing units. In parallel, the Army Staff leads units both nationally and internationally. The Army Staff develops and production-leads combat units within the Army as well as subordinate organizational units consisting of units and schools. The above combined with continuing to establish the Army Staff as a cohesive and unified force means that the work tasks are very varied, developmental and dynamic. Information about the position The Army Staff is its own organizational unit within the Armed Forces where the Technical and Maintenance Office Land (TVK Mark) is included as a department in the Materiel Unit. TVK Mark is responsible for materiel maintenance, materiel utilization and materiel maintenance economics within the Armed Forces, and to ensure that the materiel is maintained in accordance with system objectives. As Detail Chief Tracked Vehicle, you lead the work within the detail with responsibility for the Armed Forces' tracked vehicle systems (Bv 206, 208, 309 and 410 with variants) and associated trailers and maintenance equipment. The systems are used within all branches of the armed forces and are managed throughout their entire lifecycle – from receipt and maintenance to disposal. The Tracked Vehicle Detail consists of eight employees stationed in Boden, Enköping and Östersund and is part of the Boden/Umeå Section within the Army Staff. Work duties In the role as detail chief, you are responsible for planning, monitoring and developing the operations and have personnel responsibility for the system detail's employees. The role involves close cooperation with other units, central staffs, FMV and industry, and you lead the development of routines and working methods in an operation that is growing. Main work duties: Lead the detail's personnel. Responsible for the system detail's financial monitoring and reporting. Responsible for conducting user and maintenance meetings. Support in preparation of investigation and planning matters within technical service. Represent the detail at section reports. Qualifications Officer's degree or other academic degree or education/experience that the employer deems relevant Experience of work with personnel responsibility Experience of Armed Forces work within logistics, primarily technical service Good ability to understand and express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English Good ability to work on PC, especially in Microsoft Office applications B-class driver's license Meritorious Technical experience of tracked vehicle systems Experience of work with financial responsibility Experience of work with system security Good knowledge of Armed Forces materiel supply and materiel processes Experience with the Armed Forces support systems LIFT and SAP (PRIO) Personal qualities We are looking for you as a confident and committed leader with a genuine interest in technology and a good ability to create and develop collaborations.
