About the Position As a Controller at Vinnova, you will work with financial monitoring and reporting of EU-funded projects in accordance with current regulations. You are responsible for ensuring that project accounting meets both EU and state requirements. In this role, you work closely with project managers and other internal functions to monitor, report, and quality-assure the finances of the agency's EU-funded initiatives. You actively contribute to ensuring accurate and efficient accounting and reporting of the EU partnership program, with a particular focus on projects in the metals and minerals sector. Other Tasks: - Collaborate with project managers, controllers, and external partners. - Participate in audits and reviews from the EU Commission and national authorities. - Develop and improve internal procedures related to EU project finances. - Assist with other accounting tasks in the unit as needed. - Conduct training sessions and information meetings with colleagues in EU projects as needed. Partly related to system support for reporting. Assignment Period and Scope The Controller position is a full-time consulting assignment starting 2026-08-10 and is expected to continue through 2026-12-31 with the possibility of extension for an additional three months. Remote work is possible up to 50% by agreement. Requirements for the Position: • High school diploma or equivalent • Relevant post-secondary education in accounting or equivalent experience. • At least three years of professional experience as a controller within the past six years. • At least one year of experience with accounting work related to EU projects. • Excellent proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. • Knowledge of analysis tools (e.g., QlikView, Insikt, and Power BI) • Knowledge of accounting systems (e.g., Unit 4 ERP, Raindance, Visma, etc.) • Experience with government accounting • Experience delivering presentations. About You We are looking for you with experience working as a Controller and with experience in accounting work related to EU projects. If you also have professional experience from a government agency, we view that as a major plus. You are flexible, confident in giving presentations, and have a strong ability to collaborate and communicate with different stakeholders.
