Main responsibilities As Chief Coordinator, you will be part of the military region's staff and work in the Chief Support Division. You will primarily support the Military Region Commander, Deputy Military Region Commander, Regional Administrator, and Chief of Staff. The Chief Coordinator's main task is to provide administrative support to the commander and assist with coordinating participation in various activities. The work tasks are varied and include, among other things: Support military region leadership with meeting bookings and manage calendars Prepare, conduct, and take minutes at meetings Handle and prepare documents in the Swedish Armed Forces case management system Manage bookings and orders of various kinds Provide support with other administrative tasks as needed Qualifications REQUIREMENTS Current work experience such as Management Assistant/Assistant/Executive Assistant or equivalent that the employer deems relevant for the position At least five years of relevant experience in administrative work in a government agency Passed upper secondary school diploma Good proficiency with the Office package Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English Category B driving license Personal qualities To thrive and succeed in the role of Chief Coordinator, you must be solution-oriented, service-minded, and have a positive attitude. Applications for this position will only be received via the Swedish Armed Forces website. --- Information about the Swedish Armed Forces and the recruiting unit: Central Military Region (MR M) is a combat unit and an organizational unit where the Commander and Staff are located in Kungsängen. The organization consists of a Commander with staff, six training groups for education and support of the home guard, and approximately 7,000 home guard soldiers organized in eleven battalions and a number of independent units. The Commander of Central Military Region with regional staff leads subordinate units, cooperates with regional and local actors, leads security and intelligence services, and supports the operational and tactical commander in conducting tasks within the region. The region also functions as a link between the Swedish Armed Forces and civil society, and has active cooperation with county administrative boards and regions. When needed, MR M also leads operations, for example during national crises and support to society. The military region conducts tasks in peace, crisis, and war. Central Military Region's organization and area of responsibility encompasses the geographic counties of Stockholm, Uppsala, Södermanland, Värmland, Dalarna, and Gävleborg.
