This means that you: Lead and develop the team in their daily work and long-term development Create structure, prioritize, and ensure progress in delivery Improve working methods and processes where needed, not for the sake of it Coordinate measurement assignments together with our global network Have dialogue with car manufacturers regarding new models and repair data Serve as the link between the team and our software development Drive development in digitalization, data management, and system support Your team and workplace You are part of our Engineering organization and report to the Engineering Manager. At the location in Kungsör, about 150 people work, and your group is one of the key functions in our delivery. You are direct manager of seven employees: five in Kungsör, one in Germany, and one in France. Beyond that, you also collaborate with an international network of vehicle measurers. The team's competence spans broadly: from practically measuring and collecting data from vehicles to processing measurement data, developing information about new vehicles, and administering our comprehensive database. The team is experienced and technically strong. Here there is expertise in everything from measuring vehicles and collecting data to structuring information and building it in our systems. At the same time, there is potential to develop how the team works together, shares knowledge, and takes even more space. We work closely with our software development (based in Gothenburg), and there is a growing need for collaboration around systems, tools, and data management. More about you We are looking for you who have had management responsibility before and are confident in the role of manager. You who see what needs to be done, prioritize wisely and get things rolling, and are not averse to rolling up your sleeves and digging in when it's actually needed. You are present in everyday work, but also the one who lifts your gaze and helps the team see context, purpose, and direction. You have led technical teams and deliveries before, and have a good technical understanding, especially around software, databases, and especially in digital processes. You don't need to know everything yourself, but you are curious, question where needed, and know how to have discussions with both tech teams and business units. As a leader, you are unpretentious, clear, and attentive. You build trust over time, and you know that change works best together. You enjoy getting people to grow, and thrive in an environment where you have great personal responsibility but also always a strong team behind you. You need to be able to communicate fluently in both Swedish and English in our international everyday.
