The Fire and Rescue Service in Arvidsjaur Municipality consists of two fire stations and one rescue station. We are just over 50 employees, of which 3 are full-time employees, 37 part-time employees, and 8 volunteer firefighters. We are now looking for a full-time fire inspector. Duties The fire inspector role includes tasks in both operational activities and prevention work. Primarily it involves prevention work and participation in our emergency response readiness. It can also involve, for example, inspections and permit management. You will be involved in developing the service's working methods and procedures, both internally and in RSR10. We offer you a job in a forward-thinking operation with high ambitions. You will have the opportunity to work in a role that will develop both the fire and rescue service and you personally. Qualifications We are looking for someone with at least RIB training and Inspection A as well as experience with inspection work. You must have a driver's license, minimum category B. High administrative ability and good communication skills in speech and writing. It is meritorious if you: • Have Rescue Leader A or B • Have Inspection B or alternatively Prevention 1 and 2. • Have experience as an instructor in training courses. As a person, you are responsible, have good administrative ability, and are driven and action-oriented. You will be part of a small work group which places great demands on good collaboration skills. The work is highly varied, which means you must be flexible and able to adjust your planning with short notice. Terms The position is full-time and permanent, probationary employment may be applied.
