Your Role At Saab, you will work as an assembly technician in an exciting environment, where you and your team together are responsible for assembling components for our innovative defense and security solutions. You will work with both assembly and inspection of our products. If you are meticulous, driven, and enjoy working in a team, we believe you will find the right place with us. As an assembly technician, you will contribute to continuous improvements and work toward high quality in all aspects of our production. Your Profile We are looking for someone who enjoys hands-on work, is interested in how things function, and wants to develop your technical skills. We welcome you regardless of previous work experience—perhaps you have experience from the industrial sector, perhaps you come from another industry, or have recently entered the job market. We look at your willingness to contribute and your attitude as what matters. It is a merit if you have prior experience with mechanical or electrical assembly. To succeed in this role, we see that you have good knowledge of both Swedish and English, as the work requires you to understand and absorb information in both languages, both written and spoken. Shift work occurs in our production, therefore we see that you need to be flexible with working hours, as these may also change over time. The position falls under IF Metall's collective agreement area and we offer a fixed-term employment contract of 12 months. The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to applicable security clearance regulations.
