We offer eight national programs as well as an Introduction Program. Job Responsibilities We are looking for you to lead our student health team and take responsibility for special education work. The student health team consists of a counselor, school nurse, special education teacher, student support staff, and study and career guidance counselor. In your role as assistant principal, you will have personnel responsibility for the student health staff. You will lead the student health team and the development of Kungsängsgymnasiet's student health and wellness work. Your assignment consists of both investigative and developmental work with emphasis on preventive and health-promoting measures. In investigative work, as a special education specialist you will, among other things: conduct educational assessments. provide support in the implementation of interventions based on assessments conducted. take responsibility for follow-up and evaluation work based on provided support. In developmental work, as a special education specialist you will, among other things: plan educational initiatives based on identified needs in the operations. provide guidance to the school's educators and work teams regarding support. contribute to creating good learning environments for all students, with focus on group and organizational levels. The work also includes you as a special education specialist conducting targeted, individual interventions for students in need of them. As assistant principal, you are part of school leadership and have, as part of this, an explicit mandate to drive student health and wellness work at the school. We are Looking for You Who Have experience with student learning at the upper secondary level. Are engaged and interested in collaboration with colleagues and driving school projects that benefit students' development of knowledge. It is important that you have good pedagogical ability and know what inspires and engages students in learning based on their different needs and can work together with teachers on developing instruction. Qualifications You have a special education degree and experience working with upper secondary students. You have experience organizing work in a student health team and understanding of how the different professions collaborate to support student development. It is meritorious if you have experience in the role of school leader or experience with personnel responsibility. Great weight is placed on personal suitability.
