We are now a Supercommune! Lekstorpsskolan is a grades F-9 school located in the scenic Gråbo area and currently has approximately 420 students. The school is organized in work teams, where the teams are the core of the organization, providing great opportunities to change and influence. The teams work in close collaboration with student welfare and management with a focus on teaching, support, and safety, and we work to create a good learning and work environment for our students. DUTIES The position includes teaching art in grades 4-9 as well as mentoring. You teach 3 grade levels per term with 16-18 students in the groups. As an art teacher, you are responsible for planning and implementing pedagogical work as well as documentation. You design pedagogical activities so that each individual student's unique conditions and abilities are utilized and challenged. With us you are offered varied work where you will have responsibility for planning, implementing, and evaluating lessons. Together with your colleagues, you create a developmental, safe, joyful, and varied school day with student wellbeing in focus. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for a certified teacher in art. If you are certified in multiple subjects, that is advantageous. We are looking for someone who has the ability to design instruction in accordance with curricula, subject plans, and current knowledge criteria. We are looking for someone with a positive approach who can contribute to a good work climate and cooperation with both students, guardians, and colleagues.
