A well-developed student health team at the school also supports your work. About the Position This position involves pedagogical work in primary school with classroom teacher responsibilities. We are open to trying new ideas so children can have a learning experience that is varied, exciting, fun, meaningful, and stimulating. You will have the opportunity to continuously develop and change our operations together with other educators. At Bergfoten School, we work with shared mentorship, which means you will share responsibility with your closest colleagues for all students in a grade level and their instruction. Reading is central to our work. We know that safe and enjoyable reading development is the foundation for all learning. Therefore, we actively work with evidence-based tools such as LegiLexi and FonoMix to strengthen students' linguistic awareness, reading fluency, and reading comprehension from an early age. Permanent position at 100%, monthly salary, start date August 10. We conduct interviews on an ongoing basis, and the position is posted with the reservation that it may be filled by surplus staff within the scope of an ongoing reorganization in the municipality. Who Are You? You hold teacher certification with the qualifications to teach multiple subjects to younger grades F-3. You are well acquainted with the curriculum and work actively in accordance with it. You express yourself clearly in speech and writing. You build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues and foster engagement and participation. You plan, organize, and prioritize your work and see opportunities in change. You have strong pedagogical insight with understanding of how students acquire knowledge based on different prerequisites and the ability to work with varied instruction.
