Job Description Do you want to be part of creating vital life change for vulnerable people? If so, working as a treatment educator at SiS is a meaningful challenge. As a treatment educator, you work in a team with treatment assistants and treatment coordinators, and together you are responsible for ensuring that the adolescents (non-school-age boys) living with us receive the safety, care, and treatment they need. We frequently meet people in crisis, which means you work with qualified care and motivation work and providing daily support. Drawing on your knowledge of care and treatment work, you actively contribute to implementing treatment plans. Documentation is an important part of your work and contributes to legal protection, planning, and monitoring of our operations. You help maintain safety according to our procedures and contribute to smooth daily operations including schooling, cleaning, cooking, and more. Case management is also one of your responsibilities. Your work may also include mentoring new staff and interns. This is a job for someone who sees a positive challenge in working with vulnerable people in difficult life situations. You are motivated to help people in vulnerable life situations and share SiS values of being a place for change. You also have a strong ability to inspire engagement and participation among our young people. As a person, you are confident in yourself and find it easy to build relationships with adolescents as well as other team members. You have good communication skills and can remain calm even in stressful situations. You collaborate well with others and can handle conflicts constructively. Start date by agreement. We also offer 3 days of orientation that must be completed before you can work directly with clients, plus shadowing with regular staff. As a new employee, you will also complete SiS basic training lasting 10 weeks. Working hours are scheduled: days, evenings, and weekends.
