We have operations in Fjugesta, three miles west of Örebro, and a satellite unit in Granhult, three miles north of Lindesberg. As a treatment pedagogue, you work in a team with treatment assistants and treatment coordinators, and together you are responsible for ensuring that the young people and clients living with us receive the security, care, and treatment they need. We often meet people in crisis, which means you work with qualified care and motivation work and providing everyday support. Using your knowledge of care and treatment work, you actively contribute to the fulfillment of treatment plans. Documentation is an important part of your work and contributes to legal security, planning, and monitoring of our operations. You help ensure safety is maintained according to our procedures and you contribute to daily activities running smoothly—schooling, cleaning, meal preparation, and more. Qualifications To succeed in your role, you have a well-founded positive view of people. You are motivated to help people in vulnerable life situations and you share SiS values of being a place for change. You also have a strong ability to create engagement and participation among our young people. As a person, you are confident and have an easy time building relationships with young people as well as with others in the staff group. You have good communication skills and can remain calm even in stressful situations. You work well with others and can handle conflicts constructively. You must also have: A degree from a 2-year post-secondary education at a folk high school or vocational school (KY/YH) with a focus on social/pedagogical treatment work, or education from a university that we consider equivalent Category B driver's license Good Swedish, spoken and written Meritorious Experience working with people in vulnerable life situations, e.g., work in psychiatry or in LSS care Experience from client-facing positions in the Swedish Prison Service, e.g., as a prison officer Security guard training Education in care and nursing We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
