We are now recruiting hourly staff for SiS Långanäs! As a treatment assistant, you work in a team with treatment educators and treatment coordinators, and together you are responsible for ensuring that the young people (non-school-age boys) living with us receive the safety, care, and treatment they need. We often meet people in crisis, which means you work with qualified care and motivational work and provide support in daily life. With your knowledge of care and treatment work, you actively contribute to carrying out treatment plans. Documentation is an important part of your work and contributes to legal security, planning, and follow-up of our operations. You help maintain security according to our procedures and you contribute to daily life running smoothly with schooling, cleaning, cooking, and more. Equally important is that you have a solid positive view of people, strong empathetic ability, and an ability to build good relationships. Qualifications: At least 2 years of post-secondary education from a folk high school or vocational school (KY/YH) or equivalent education. The education should be focused on social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science, or other relevant field. - Exceptions to the requirement for at least two years of post-secondary education can be made in individual cases if there are special reasons according to Chapter 5, Section 4 of the Social Services Ordinance (2025:468). Class B driver's license Good Swedish in speech and writing Meritorious qualifications: Experience from client-facing positions at the Swedish Prison and Probation Service (Kriminalvården), e.g., as a correctional officer Security guard training Experience from client-facing positions at the Swedish Migration Agency (Migrationsverket), e.g., handler at the detention facility Education in care and elderly care Experience working with our target group (e.g., substance abuse care, youth care, young boys) At SiS, we value good teamwork.
