Job Description As a treatment assistant, you work in a team together with treatment educators and treatment coordinators, and together you are responsible for ensuring that the young people (non-compulsory school-age boys) living with us receive the safety, care, and treatment they need. We often meet people in crisis, which means you work with qualified care and motivation efforts and provide everyday support. Using your knowledge in care and treatment work, you actively contribute to implementing treatment plans. Documentation is an important part of your work and contributes to legal security, planning, and monitoring of our activities. You contribute to maintaining safety according to our procedures and help ensure that daily life runs smoothly with schooling, cleaning, cooking, and more. Mentorship is also one of your responsibilities. The work may also include serving as a supervisor for new employees and interns. Qualifications: At least 2 years of post-secondary education from a folk high school or vocational college (KY/YH) or other education equivalent to this. The education must be focused on social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science, or another relevant subject area. - Exceptions to the requirement for at least two years of post-secondary education can be made in individual cases if there are special grounds according to 5 chap. 4§ socialtjänstförordningen (2025:468). Start date by agreement. We also have 3 days of introduction that must be completed before you as an employee can work directly with clients, plus shadowing with regular staff. As a new employee, you will also undergo SiS basic training for 10 weeks. Working hours are according to schedule - day, evening, and weekends.
