Treatment Assistant

Due to staff turnover in our summer recruitment, we are now seeking someone who can start working immediately with an interest in working essentially full-time throughout the summer. Tursbo Rehab is now looking for a treatment assistant on hourly basis at our facilities in Åker and Kulltorp, where we provide treatment for adult men aged 20-65 with substance abuse issues, criminal backgrounds, and often combined with mental health problems. We work with the 12-step program as our theoretical treatment foundation but also incorporate elements of CBT. We also have nurses, psychologists, and psychiatrists connected to our operations. Clients are primarily placed by the Correctional Service and Social Services, but placements through LVM also occur. We are now seeking one or two treatment assistants for the summer with the possibility of continued hourly work in the fall. Operations run 24/7 and working hours can vary from daytime to evening, weekends, and nights with on-call overnight shifts. Your duties will include: Medication administration Sample collection Supervision/Patient care Conversations Meal preparation Cleaning/Laundry Transportation Documentation and other record-keeping Facilitating recreational activities Facilitating treatment groups based on competence And much more! You need to: Have a positive view of people and ensure everyone receives the best possible treatment and care while with us Have good ability to set boundaries and work from a professional but not personal perspective Be able to work independently, feel comfortable working alone, and enjoy variety in your tasks Have good documentation skills Spread joy and positivity at work Hold a valid B-class driver's license for manual transmission vehicles Have no criminal record in the Criminal Records Register for sentences/convictions within the past 5 years If you have personal substance abuse issues, you must have at least 5 years of sobriety You will receive: A warm, family-like workplace with fantastic colleagues Developing and exciting work tasks Work with amazing people, some of whom will undoubtedly stay in your heart forever A workplace with active occupational health and safety work, clear procedures and policies Transparent and open work environment Meritorious qualifications: Knowledge/experience of the 12-step program Experience with this target group If you are passionate about cooking and enjoy cleaning and maintaining a nice environment 😊 Start date is immediate.
