Role Description As a treatment specialist with a focus on families, you work with change and treatment in encounters with perpetrators of violence, victims of violence, social difficulties, and non-normative behavior among children, youth, and adults. You work on assignments from investigating social workers. The work aims to provide the target group with tools for independent living. Within the unit, we work intensively with development, innovative thinking, and place great focus on the user. Based on the new Social Services Act, we work with and offer several services within IUB (services without needs assessment) to quickly provide support to individuals. The Resource Team is an operational unit consisting of several different expertise areas working toward family or adult treatment. We also have a Family Center within the unit that works preventively with children and parents. The role of Family Foster Care Coordinator complements and is also part of the Resource Team. We have a flexible approach where we customize support within the Resource Team based on individual needs, utilizing everyone's expertise. We constantly work on skills development to meet the target group's needs. Work Tasks The content of treatment work is tailored to individual needs. Within your responsibilities, you will work with both individual and group treatment. The assignment involves working flexibly and proactively, offering users treatment services in both home environments and our facilities, according to need. Development work, collaboration, and documentation through case notes are important parts of the position. The work is performed both independently and together with colleagues in the Resource Team and is primarily located during daytime. Evening work occurs within the scope of the position. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a degree in social work, social pedagogy, or behavioral science, or another college degree that the employer deems equivalent. Experience with similar work tasks is meritorious but not required. As a person, you are flexible, stable, structured, and provide users with the support they need to progress in their change process. Good communication and collaboration skills are important for this position. You have a positive demeanor and are good at motivating and inspiring others. Great weight is placed on personal suitability. A Class B driver's license is required for the position.
