We provide care, support, and treatment services for children, adolescents, and families. Within autism spectrum disorder, we offer upper secondary education with residential facilities, group homes, and day activities. Notavillan is an HVB (home for care and treatment) that receives children aged 0-18 with or without parents on assignment from municipal social services. We can accept acute placements around the clock as well as placements for treatment or assessment. Our typical assessment period is 10 weeks. Notavillan can offer both collective housing and individual apartments. We also offer assessments and treatment in outpatient care. At Notavillan, 14 care workers are employed, two of whom work permanent night shifts. There is also a kitchen and meal coordinator, a coordinator, an operations manager, and an assistant operations manager on site during daytime on weekdays. Outside these hours, a manager is on call. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are looking for you to meet others with respect and warmth. You want to be part of creating a safe and well-functioning environment for vulnerable children and families. The people we meet are often in crisis and, due to previous experiences, may have experienced trauma, which places high demands on respectful care and qualified nursing. As a care worker at Notavillan, you will participate in providing children and families with care, protection, and treatment. You will also participate in assessment work. At Notavillan, you will work with practical and concrete client work where you have conversations and conduct activities together with residents. Your work also includes documentation such as implementation plans, journals, and monthly reports. All staff members share joint responsibility for all tasks at the institution, such as cleaning and laundry. QUALIFICATIONS We want you to have at least a 2-year relevant post-secondary education with a focus on social work, social pedagogy, or behavioral science. You need experience from similar work with children, preferably within HVB. The job responsibilities place high demands on your ability to build contact and relationships and to collaborate. We place great emphasis on personal suitability, including empathic ability, personal maturity, and good self-awareness. You must have a Class B driver's license (manual transmission) and a valid extract from the police suspicion and conviction register. Salary form: Monthly salary.
