Brandt Båt is now seeking an engaged and driven boat technician/mechanic who wants to become part of our team in Lysekil. With us, you'll work at a facility with a unique location, where we provide comprehensive service through both our SeaSea store and guest harbor. We represent strong brands and help workshop and winter storage customers throughout western Sweden. About the position As a boat technician/mechanic with us, you'll have a role full of varied and developmental tasks. Your work responsibilities include engine service, repair, troubleshooting, and preservation. We service inboard engines, outboard engines, and drives from well-known brands, as well as install marine accessories. The work is highly varied and takes place both in the workshop and at customer locations. The role also includes practical work on the water and marine transport for winter storage. Our facility is well-equipped and we handle motorboats up to 30 tons. Work is performed both independently and together with colleagues. Your areas of responsibility Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues on various types of recreational boats. Ensure that service and repairs are performed correctly, safely, and according to plan. Perform work on the water and marine transport for winter storage. Contribute to order and cleanliness in the workshop and follow documentation procedures. Who are you? We see that you have a technical/mechanical secondary education, preferably in the marine field. Experience working as a mechanic is a merit. Since the role involves work at customer locations, you're accustomed to communicating with people and have a professional demeanor. You are quality-conscious, structured, flexible, and have a high sense of responsibility and work ethic. Qualifications B-category driver's license. Swedish in speech and writing. Merits Marine pilot training or pilot certificate. Forklift license. Terms Probationary employment for six months, followed by permanent employment.
