Temporary Construction Work Environment Coordinator – Execution (Bas-U) / Work Environment Engineer with Construction Interest Vaara EHS is seeking a dedicated Bas-U coordinator for a temporary assignment starting as soon as possible through at least April 2027 with potential for extension. This is a full-time position based in Tullinge with assignments covering the region from Södertälje to Sigtuna. If everything goes well, there may be an opportunity for a permanent employment. **About the Role** As a Bas-U coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating work environment efforts during the execution phase of our construction projects. You will ensure that work is carried out safely and in accordance with the Work Environment Act and the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations. The role involves close collaboration with project management, subcontractors, and clients. Your responsibilities include: - Coordinate work environment issues between various parties on the work site to ensure that work activities do not create risks for one another - Prepare, adapt, and continuously monitor the work environment plan throughout the project - Conduct safety inspections and ensure that deficiencies are remedied - Monitor compliance with applicable rules, procedures, and safety measures on-site - Document and report near-misses, accidents, and deviations **We Are Looking For You If You** - Have valid Bas-P/Bas-U certification (Bas-U certification is a requirement) or have good work environment knowledge and are willing to take the Bas-U training - Have solid knowledge of the Work Environment Act and relevant AFS regulations - Have experience from the construction or engineering sector - Are well-organized, communicative, and can drive work environment issues independently - Hold a B-class driver's license - Swedish language proficiency is a requirement **What We Offer** A temporary assignment at a small company with diverse projects.
