As a childcare worker with us, you will be an important part of a dedicated team at one of our five preschools in Älvdalen Municipality. Work Tasks In your role as a childcare worker, you work together with your colleagues to ensure that the education is safe, fun, and educational for all children. You approach your work from a holistic perspective where care, development, and learning form a natural unity in daily life. You participate in the entire pedagogical process—from planning and implementation to documentation, follow-up, and development of the activities. You actively contribute to systematic quality work and help develop learning environments that inspire curiosity, play, and learning. As a childcare worker, you have an important role in the team. You work both independently and together with colleagues, take responsibility in daily work, and contribute to good pedagogical leadership. In collaboration with preschool teachers, you may participate in or conduct development conversations. A central part of your assignment is to create good and trusting relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues. Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for someone who is dedicated, flexible, and sees opportunities in change. You enjoy collaborating and value good relationships in your interactions with children, colleagues, and guardians. You have a good understanding of how children learn and develop and can adjust your approach based on different needs and situations. You are confident in your professional role, take responsibility, and want to help develop the operations forward. As a person, you are attentive, positive, and creative. You have a genuine interest in inspiring and supporting children's development and contributing to a stimulating and inclusive environment. We also see that you have good leadership skills with groups of children and the ability to drive pedagogical processes forward in line with the organization's goals. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has - Upper secondary education in the Children's and Recreation program with a pedagogical focus, or - A diploma from a vocational training program for childcare workers via adult education - Good knowledge of and understanding of the preschool's regulatory documents - The ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written - Basic digital competence It is advantageous if you have experience working as a childcare worker.
