The Childcare Provider Role As a childcare provider, you work with care, education, and teaching for children ages 1–5 in accordance with the Preschool Curriculum, Lpfö 18. You are an important part of the children's daily life and contribute to creating a safe, stimulating, and developmental learning environment where each child has the opportunity to grow, explore, and learn. In this role, you actively participate in children's play, learning, and care. You support children in their development, spark curiosity, and create conditions for participation and safety. Together with preschool teachers, you plan, implement, and follow up on activities based on the children's needs, interests, and capabilities. The work also includes practical tasks such as meals, rest time, and outdoor activities. You have daily contact with guardians and contribute to good collaboration. Conversations with guardians may be part of your duties. The preschool is a traditional preschool that is now embarking on an exciting development journey. Through a reorganization, the operation will work with smaller groups of children, which creates even better conditions for close relationships, safety, and learning. As a childcare provider, you have the opportunity to be involved from the start and help shape the operation's future work methods and development. Your Profile You are an engaged and attentive childcare provider who builds safe relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues. You take responsibility for your work, collaborate well with others, and actively contribute to the development of the operation. You are flexible, see opportunities in change, and are eager to take initiatives that benefit children's learning and development. You communicate well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required in daily work. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
