Västerby Preschool is built for children and their joy of exploration. Learning environments for building and construction, atelier, drama and role play, and nature and technology are available both indoors and outdoors. This allows children to continue their exploration and learning in the environments whether they are inside or outside; moreover, the forest is part of the yard. Västerby Preschool works through projects where children's curiosity and questions are in focus. We use many different materials and aesthetic forms of expression to create creativity and give all children the opportunity to communicate, create, experiment, play, and learn. In Götene Municipality, we have ongoing development work where pedagogical specialists play a significant role in strengthening educators in their work of making children's processes visible, especially through guidance in reflection every other week. Duties As a childcare worker, you are part of a work team and we expect that you enjoy being a leader and interacting with the children. You are conscious with a child perspective in focus. You shall collaborate with other educators and have shared responsibility for developing the learning environment and equality within our preschool with the curriculum and municipal goals as benchmarks. Pedagogical documentation is an important part of the work; through it we see the learning processes of the child group and educators. Qualifications Trained childcare worker. As a person, you are creative, driven, engaged, positive, and want to develop our shared pedagogical mission.
