Job Duties We are seeking a confident and committed childcare worker for a temporary position at 50% for one year. The role involves work from lunch time and during the afternoon, where you become an important part of the after-school center's activities and the students' day. You work closely with students, create a sense of safety, and contribute to a positive and structured afternoon for the group of children. You meet children with a low-affect approach, are flexible in daily routines, and collaborate well with colleagues and guardians. . Provide support to students in social and educational contexts . Collaborate with colleagues and guardians . Contribute to planning and developing after-school center activities A central part of the role is to: . Provide support to students with diabetes . Perform blood sugar checks . Follow diet and medical routines . Work based on individual action plans . Be confident and thorough in medical procedures About the Organization Furuborgs School is the municipality's newest school and includes grades F-6 as well as adapted primary school. Good understanding of the after-school center's mission . Experience working in after-school care . Ability to create meaningful activities and a safe environment . Understanding of the after-school center's pedagogical core: relationships, participation, safety, and social development Personal Qualities . Are calm, confident, and work with a low-affect approach . Are flexible and solution-focused . Have good collaboration skills . Have a genuine commitment to children's safety and development Additional Information We require that you provide a certificate from the criminal record register before employment.
