The work is Monday - Friday shift work day shift/evening/night shift As a hearse driver/assistant, you and your colleague will handle transportation of deceased persons. In your work, you have an active role in planning, execution, and responsibility for work tasks based on routines and directives from the company management. Company Information: Politivagn Stockholm is a hearse company that transports deceased persons on assignment from Police Authorities and Municipalities. Working hours consist of shift work and are based at the company's location in Fruängens centrum. We work based on a shared value foundation where professionalism, dignity, pride, and respect for the assignment are the foundation. Work Tasks: The work involves staffing a hearse as a team of two and alternating between driver and assistant. The work requires good cooperation with employees at both the Police Authority, the National Board of Forensic Medicine, Municipal residences, and other external facilities. In the assistant's role, you receive telephone orders and prepare driving orders. During the work shift, the team is also responsible for vehicle maintenance, the shared facilities, and handling of work and consumable materials. The work involves a certain degree of freedom with responsibility. Qualifications: Preferably category C driver's license Requirements: .CV . Upper secondary education 2 years or equivalent . Category B driver's license . Good driving experience . Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing . Stable mental health and good physical ability as the work may involve heavy lifting Meritorious: . Driving experience with light truck or equivalent . Good local knowledge of Stockholm County . Experience from work in transport, passenger transport, or hearse industry . From an ethical approach, contribute to dignified handling of the deceased and good treatment of cooperating parties and people you meet during the assignment . Have good empathetic ability as the work sometimes involves meeting people in difficult situations. Employment Terms: We apply individual salary setting in accordance with Kommunal's guidelines. Depending on the degree of employment, fixed monthly salary or hourly wage is applied. Criminal record extract is taken before employment in accordance with the Police Authority's requirements. Working Hours: Currently we are seeking full-time staff who can work 5 days/week Monday through Friday Working hours can vary from week to week, days and nights Other: Our work group is smoke-free.
