Department Manager, Forest & Garden

We have now completed the expansion of our workshop (150 sqm) and are looking to grow our team with a person to take overall responsibility for the department. The Role! As Department Manager for Forest & Garden, you will be a key part of our operations and the company's face toward our customers. You will be responsible for the workshop and, together with the Store Manager, you will plan daily operations for yourself and your 6 team members. Responsibilities in the department include repair and service of forest and garden machinery such as lawn mowers, chainsaws, and more. We recently made a new investment with a dedicated person focusing on robotic lawn mower sales, so installation of robotic lawn mowers at customer sites during the season may also become part of your team's work. Together with your team, you will plan purchases of machinery and spare parts, and you will monitor sales and profitability for the department. You will create and follow up on routines for increased efficiency (great opportunities with the new expanded workshop). Workload during peak season can sometimes be heavy, but we support each other as we work as a team. Perhaps you have workshop experience, maybe as a customer service representative at a car repair shop or have you been some form of team leader where you met end customers every day? Delivering high quality, a desire to make customers satisfied, and being a problem solver are things you recognize in yourself. Furthermore, you have good collaboration skills, as we are a team that helps each other. You have a strong service mindset and appreciate contact with people/customers.
