Qualifications Beyond the personal qualities we seek and describe, you need to meet basic requirements to be qualified for the position: be at least 18 years old before starting the assignment high school diploma or equivalent good Swedish speaking and writing skills driver's license category B You must also be without criminal record, drug-free, have organized finances, and be in good health and physical condition to be employed at Avarn Security. Security guard training is a merit on these positions. Other meriting qualifications include experience working in the security industry, certain technical knowledge, additional language skills beyond Swedish and English, and previous experience working in public environments. If you have the right profile for Avarn and you advance in the process but don't already have the required training (VU1, VU2), we'll cover your training costs! Security guard training (VU1, 9 days) is conducted by BYA Bevakningsbranschens Yrkes- och Arbetsmiljönämnd. Participation in this training is a requirement for employment.
