Avarn Security has the assignment to deliver security services to Stockholm Arlanda Airport, which involves staffing with Airport Controllers, Security Guards, and Watchmen. You will be based at the security checkpoint where you work as an airport controller, but when needed, you will reinforce our security guard group. High demands are placed on you as an individual to maintain a high level of security at the facility. The work requires you to have good collaboration skills and the ability to make good decisions independently. Being communicative and having good physical fitness is necessary to thrive in this position. You need to be flexible and enjoy that work tasks can change with short notice. The work time measure is full-time, provided that you are approved for the required training and have obtained the licenses applicable for the position. Until then, you will have a 70% employment. You will work primarily as an airport controller at security checkpoints and support surveillance as needed at our various positions, where gates are most common. Working hours are distributed across all hours and days of the week. Interviews are ongoing. The position is a permanent employment with a 6-month probation period starting after agreement, with the requirement that you can complete the training that will be provided to take employment at Arlanda. The position requires that you can carry weapons. An assessment interview will be conducted for this competency before weapons training takes place. It is meritorious if you are already trained as a security guard and airport controller. If you are not, we will ensure you are trained.
