About the Project Manager Role in Building Automation As a project manager, you'll be a key contact with our customers and work on creating smart, energy-efficient and sustainable properties. You'll be responsible for developing, implementing and optimizing control and monitoring systems that ensure operational reliability, comfort and reduced energy consumption. Your Responsibilities As a project manager in building automation, you're responsible for planning, leading and following up on automation projects. The role involves ensuring that technical solutions are installed and function according to requirements, while the project stays on schedule, within budget and meets quality goals. Your responsibilities include coordinating and serving as a central contact point throughout the entire project lifecycle. The project manager is responsible for design, procurement, scheduling and resource allocation. It also involves monitoring installations, commissioning and verifying that systems function as intended. The role further involves working with documentation, risk management and quality assurance, as well as ensuring that the project meets applicable laws, standards and customer requirements. The position often also requires technical interest and understanding of modern automation systems and digital solutions in properties. The project manager needs to have strong communication skills, be well-organized and solution-oriented, and be able to handle multiple projects in parallel. The role includes, among other things: • Design and engineering • Material ordering • Project economy (budget, forecasts, changes) • Contact with subcontractors for installation and control panels • Time and resource planning in projects • Leading or participating in coordinated functional tests and inspections • Customer contact • Sales We believe you: • Have a genuine interest in building automation and technology • Enjoy working in a team, but also have the ability to plan and act independently • Are a team player who contributes to both colleagues and customers • Like order and structure, take responsibility and have good communication skills • See service as a natural part of your work • Have at least three years' experience in building automation Perhaps you've worked as an automation engineer and feel it's time to take the next step in your career as a project manager with us. You may also already have a few years' experience in the project manager role and be ready for new challenges in a developing and technically exciting environment.
