What the role entails! At Gleco, you will have the opportunity to work in a varied role where no two days are the same. You will become part of an experienced team consisting of five Automation Engineers who together work with everything from special machines and robotic solutions to advanced automation projects across several different industries. In the role, you work in different project teams where you collaborate closely with project managers, electrical engineers, electricians, and other automation engineers throughout the entire project process – from idea and programming to commissioning at the customer site. The close collaboration between departments creates a dynamic day-to-day where solutions are found together and projects are driven forward. You will work with, among other things: Project work from idea to commissioning Development of automation solutions and PLC programming HMI and SCADA Programming and integration of robot and vision systems Optimization and further development of existing systems Commissioning and support at the customer site Close collaboration in project teams with several different areas of expertise Thanks to the great variety of projects, you will have continuous opportunities to broaden your technical skills and be challenged with new technologies and solutions. Good technical understanding and experience working project-based Experience in PLC programming Good experience with Siemens and Mitsubishi Knowledge of HMI and SCADA Experience with commissioning and troubleshooting Driver's license (category B) Swedish and English fluent in speech and writing About Gleco Gleco is a specialized technology company in electrical and industrial automation based in Åstorp.
