Common conditions you will encounter as an occupational therapist include: reduced hand function, pain, neurological issues, cognitive impacts, and mental health concerns. The work also includes prescribing assistive devices and certificates for home modifications. Together with the patient, a personal rehabilitation plan is developed. The work is conducted at the clinic, digitally, and through home visits. Patient treatment is provided both individually and in groups. The work involves close collaboration with other professions, both at your own clinic and with other partner organizations. You and your colleagues, together with your manager, are responsible for the development of the operations through continuous improvement work. About You You are a licensed occupational therapist. Previous experience in the profession and primary healthcare is a merit, but we also welcome newly graduated candidates. With us, you are allowed to be new, and you will have a colleague occupational therapist as a mentor. We are looking for someone who is attentive, has good communication skills, and can identify individuals' unique needs as you meet many different people. Additionally, you see collaboration with colleagues and other partners as a natural and important part of the work, which you perform with commitment and professionalism. You can plan your work in an efficient and organized manner based on the operations' goals. As workload varies and unforeseen events may occur, we see that you are flexible and independent. You place great importance on good conduct and always strive to treat customers, patients, and colleagues with respect and consideration. Other Information This position is a temporary appointment planned to start September 1st and runs for one year. Work-related travel is required. A valid driver's license is required.
