The Rehabilitation Unit is part of the Social Services Department and consists of seven occupational therapists and six physiotherapists. We work in close collaboration with other personnel in healthcare and social services within the municipality's special housing facilities, short-term housing, home care nursing, and home services, as well as for individuals receiving services under the LSS (Disability Services Act). We operate throughout Härjedalen and are based in Funäsdalen, Hede, and Sveg. Work Location: Sveg. This is a temporary position at 100% with the possibility of extension. Recruitment and interviews are ongoing throughout the application period. Start date August 1, 2026, or by agreement. Job Responsibilities - You will work with assessment and training in activities, as well as guidance and instruction to patients, relatives, and care staff. Your responsibilities also include home modifications and assistive device prescription. Qualifications Requirements: - Licensed occupational therapist or obtaining licensure by the agreed start date. - Driver's license (Category B). - Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. Background check clearance is required for work in elderly care and services for adults with disabilities. Merits: - Previous experience from municipal operations in both elderly care and LSS services. - Completed specialized training in transfer techniques. Beyond adequate education and experience, personal suitability is heavily weighted.
