We are now seeking a licensed occupational therapist to join the municipality's Health and Medical Care team (HSL unit). Welcome to submit your application! The Workplace The Health and Medical Care unit consists of nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation assistants. We work with patients aged 18 and above who need health and medical care at the primary care level in their homes, both in specialized and ordinary housing as well as in disability care services. The Role and Responsibilities Your tasks include analyzing, mapping/assessing, treating, and providing advice and support based on the individual's needs to increase their ability to engage in activities and participate. Your responsibilities also include prescribing assistive devices/cognitive support and writing various certificates. Guidance and support to family members and care staff is also an important part of the work. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a licensed occupational therapist. A driver's license for a car with manual transmission is also required. Experience working in municipal health and medical care is a merit. We value personal qualities such as social competence and flexibility. The work requires you to be able to work independently and have the ability to make decisions and assessments. You should also have the ability to plan and organize your workday efficiently. You are a compassionate person and positive about collaborating with different professional categories. You should also have a good ability to communicate and maintain written documentation in Swedish. The Employment Prior to employment for work in the homes of elderly persons or adults with disabilities, a certificate from the criminal record register must be presented in accordance with applicable legislation. The certificate must be presented to the employer before employment begins to ensure safety and security for our service users.
