As an Employment Services Coordinator, you are a key person in that journey. You meet people in complex life situations and help them find the way forward. About the Position As an Employment Services Coordinator, you work to support individuals toward employment or education. You coordinate interventions, develop individual action plans, and follow up on these together with the individual. The role involves close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders such as the Swedish Public Employment Service, healthcare, and the business sector. You'll be part of a skilled team consisting of social workers, occupational therapists, work supervisors, public health experts, SE coaches, and project managers. Over the next two years, we're running the ESF project "Together – Coordinated Support for Sustainable Income" in collaboration with Gnosjö Municipality. The project targets long-term unemployed individuals with complex needs and aims to strengthen their conditions for employment or education. Together with your colleagues, you'll work with both project participants and developing new working methods. Responsibilities Coordinate employment and rehabilitation measures at the individual level. Develop and follow up on individual action plans. Motivate individuals toward employment or education based on their circumstances. Plan and implement measures for individuals and groups. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Actively participate in developing methods and procedures. Qualifications Social worker, occupational therapist, or other relevant higher education degree. Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Class B driver's license is required. Meritorious Knowledge of motivational interviewing (MI), Empowerment, NPF, BIP, and Supported Employment. Experience working in municipal employment services, social treatment work, or at the Swedish Public Employment Service. Knowledge of the regulations of the Swedish Public Employment Service and the Swedish Social Insurance Agency. Personal Qualities We're looking for someone with a solution-focused and relationship-oriented approach. You are confident, attentive, and have the ability to motivate people. To succeed in this role, you need to be flexible, organized, and comfortable working independently. You're used to planning and organizing your own work and driving your cases forward. As a coordinator, you need the ability to build relationships, listen, and motivate change. You have good computer skills, as the position requires documentation and use of our digital management systems. You have strong collaboration skills and enjoy working in a team. About the Workplace The Employment Services Unit is organized under the Municipal Executive Board and has the mission to drive and coordinate employment matters, income support, and integration issues. Our task is to support people who lack stable anchoring in the labor market toward self-sufficiency and employment, working with the individual at the center. The Employment Services Unit promotes inclusion in society regardless of gender, ethnicity, age, and social background. The operation is centrally located in Vaggeryd with excellent commuting opportunities, and we also share premises with the Swedish Public Employment Service.
