Employment Coach for an ESF Project
Description:
Do you want to have influence and be involved in development work at your workplace? Then you are welcome to Tranemo Municipality. Here we strive for a strong sense of community and encourage participation and involvement. We offer good leadership and excellent working conditions. We deliver services with high quality and are seeking engaged employees who want to help build the Tranemo of the future. Do you want to be part of developing new approaches that strengthen young adults' opportunities for work, studies, and an independent adult life? On September 1st, Team unga, a new ESF project, is launching in Tranemo Municipality. Team unga is an interdisciplinary team where municipal services that meet and support young people and young adults in the municipality participate. The purpose of Team unga is to strengthen collaboration and coordinate efforts to create good opportunities for an independent adult life and establishment in work or studies. The project targets young people and young adults aged 18-29 who are neither working nor studying. We are now strengthening the team and seeking an employment coach who wants to build and develop work-focused initiatives for the target group. Are you the one we're looking for? 1 position(s). DUTIES As an employment coach in Team unga, you will work with young people and young adults who have weak or no previous establishment in the labor market. You will be responsible for developing approaches to strengthen young people's establishment in the labor market. The initiatives you offer can be both individual and group-based. An important part of the assignment is to establish contacts with the working world and offer support to participants, employers, and supervisors to create sustainable establishment in working life. Given that the target group includes young people with NPF diagnoses and mental health issues, work with workplace adaptations is important. The position is part of the Labor Market Unit, and you will be part of the work team there. At the same time, you will be part of a smaller project team and collaborate with the municipality's regular activities such as authorities, open care, schools, labor market unit, and daily activities. Collaboration will also occur externally with, for example, the Social Insurance Agency, the Public Employment Service, and healthcare. Working in a project means assembling the puzzle while you work. This means there will not be a complete assignment description, clear tasks, or established routines and collaboration structures when you start. Part of the project is to create these based on the target group's needs. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with relevant post-secondary education for the position or work experience that the employer considers equivalent. The education/work experience should include, for example, labor market issues, social work, health, rehabilitation, pedagogy, or behavioral science. You have experience working with young people and young adults, preferably with NPF diagnoses, mental health issues, or other challenges that may affect establishment in work or studies. It is meritorious if you have experience with: · collaboration between different activities and authorities · labor market or employment issues · motivational interviewing (MI), ACT, or equivalent methodology · Supported Employment (SE) and Job Match Talent (JMT) · documentation, follow-up, and project work To thrive in the role, you need to be structured, flexible, and proactive. You have a good ability to build trusting relationships, work independently, and collaborate with many different actors. Since the project is in a startup phase, it is important that you enjoy developing approaches, finding solutions, and helping build the organization together with others. Since the work requires documentation, you need to have a good command of Swedish in both speech and writing. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. A B-class driver's license is required. Salary form: Monthly salary. Type of employment: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 6 months or longer. Working hours: Daytime. We will hold employment interviews on an ongoing basis during the application period. The advertisement may be removed during the process if recruitment is completed. At the interview, you must present a passport, national ID card, or identity certificate showing Swedish citizenship. You can easily download an identity certificate via skatteverket.se If you are not a Swedish citizen, you must show documents proving your right to work in Sweden. By law, we as an employer have the opportunity to request extracts from criminal and suspicion registers when recruiting for certain positions. We strive for equal gender distribution and view diversity as a strength, so we welcome applicants with different backgrounds. In preparation for the recruitment process, we have taken a position on recruitment channels and marketing. We therefore strongly decline contact with media sales representatives, recruitment sites, and similar. We use e-recruitment to streamline and ensure quality in the recruitment process.
