Are You Our New QHSE Advisor?

About the Role As a QHSE Advisor with us, you'll have a role where workplace environment and safety are a natural part of daily work. You'll help translate goals, requirements, and ambitions into effective working methods through close collaboration with managers and employees. The role involves moving between our facilities across the country, primarily in central and southern Sweden, and being an active part of daily operations. Through dialogue, collaboration, and understanding of how work is conducted, you'll contribute to making workplace environment efforts relevant, useful, and dynamic. This is a role for someone who actively wants to contribute to a better work environment and fewer accidents. In your work, you are responsible for: Driving and developing systematic workplace environment and safety efforts in collaboration with managers and safety representatives Supporting risk assessments, safety inspections, and incident and accident investigations Increasing awareness of and providing training in KMA/QHSE Conducting internal audits according to ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and 50001, as well as inspections according to existing programs Managing chemical handling and convening chemical safety councils Working with environmental and workplace regulations and managing contacts with authorities within your area of responsibility Contributing to sustainability efforts by integrating environmental and social perspectives into daily working methods Staying updated on legislation, regulations, and requirements within the environmental and workplace environment field The focus of the role is on Safety and workplace environment in daily work, with quality, environment, and sustainability as natural parts of the whole. Organization and Location You report to the QHSE Manager and are based at our facility in Upplands Väsby. You will be part of a team with one additional QHSE Advisor and a Process Manager, as well as two colleagues in Norway. We Are Looking for Someone Who: Believes that real change in workplace environment and safety is created through presence, dialogue, and collaboration with people Has experience in workplace environment efforts and relevant education. Is confident in contributing to operations, where you build trust through your way of working. Has relevant education. Has experience driving change initiatives and developing and implementing approaches within workplace environment and environmental matters Has experience with chemical handling Takes responsibility, is flexible, and can prioritize when there are many tasks Is curious about how AI and digital tools can support more efficient and operationally-focused workplace environment efforts Communicates well in speech and writing in Swedish and English Holds a class B driver's license – travel is a natural and frequent part of the role Contact If you have questions about the position, you are warmly welcome to contact Erik Nordgren, QHSE Manager 0702-247 013 [email protected]
