Are You Our Next Procurement Specialist?

Description:

Do you want to work closely with major international suppliers in a role where you can combine business, relationships, and development? At Hedlunda Industri, you'll become an important part of an engaged team where we together build the sustainable industry of the future – with quality, continuous improvement, and collaboration in focus. We're now looking for a procurement specialist in Supply Chain who wants to grow with us in the heart of Västerbotten. What We Offer You With us, you'll have an important role in a stable and expanding company where we invest long-term – both in our operations and our employees. We offer a workplace where people care about each other, where ideas are valued, and where you have the opportunity to influence and develop. If you want to grow, there are great opportunities to develop together with the company and gradually shape the role over time. You'll work in a forward-thinking industrial company with international collaborations and a warm company culture where we develop together. We offer wellness allowance, access to EV charging stations, and the possibility of working from home by agreement. About the Role This is a replacement recruitment as an appreciated colleague is retiring. This is an opportunity to step into a key role where you work closely with our world-leading suppliers, manage major deals, and become an important part of a strong improvement-driven company. As a procurement specialist with us, you'll work primarily operationally with the procurement of direct materials such as wood, packaging, and hardware, as well as with certain indirect purchases like tools and work clothes. The role is varied and includes administrative tasks, delivery planning, supplier contacts, and improvement work. You'll work closely with our Supply Chain Manager and sometimes with the CEO on negotiations and more complex matters. In your daily work, you'll handle and follow up on orders, plan deliveries, and manage transport calls related to wood procurement. You're also responsible for invoice handling and supplier documentation, and you actively work with discrepancies, complaints, and improvement initiatives together with our suppliers. The role involves many touchpoints and close collaborations with, for example, sawmills, packaging and hardware manufacturers. You'll work in Monitor G5 and in several of our customers' business systems, and travel may be part of the role. Who Are You? We'd like you to have completed upper secondary school and either have relevant education in procurement, logistics, or economics, or you've previously gained work experience in the above areas. You feel comfortable working in different business systems; if you have experience with Monitor G5 or a background in the sawmill or timber industry, that's a merit, but what matters most to us is your attitude and willingness to learn and develop together with the company. As a person, you're curious, solution-oriented, and thrive in a role where you can combine attention to detail with a drive to develop methods and find solutions in daily work. To thrive with us, we believe you're structured, self-directed, and comfortable with responsibility, while also valuing collaboration and contributing to the team's collective development by working independently and taking your own initiatives in your daily work. You enjoy building relationships and creating trust, both internally and externally, and have an interest in business and negotiations. You see developing long-term collaborations with suppliers and partners as an important part of your work. Experience with lean or continuous improvement work is desirable, as is the ability to read, understand, and interpret comprehensive standard documents and translate them into clear and practical working methods and routines. You need good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as you'll have international contacts. A valid driver's license (category B) is required.
