The Adult Unit is a department under the Employment and Financial Assistance operational area within the Social and Employment Administration. Within the Social and Employment Administration, we work across many different operations that can be referred to as Social Services, employment services, and adult education. The Adult Unit consists of a unit manager and two assistant unit managers. The unit's main responsibilities include authority and enforcement within financial assistance, social psychiatry, and substance abuse and addiction services. We work in smaller teams, and each team is led by a senior social worker. Together within the unit, we are approximately 60 employees. We are now looking for you, someone interested in working with our team in the area of substance abuse and addiction services. The team consists of 8 case officers/social workers and 1 senior social worker. Everyone in the team is driven by strong commitment, and as an applicant, you need to share this passion. JOB DUTIES As a social worker, you have authority responsibility, and your tasks include investigating applications for support for adults with substance use disorders and making decisions according to the Social Services Act and the Compulsory Care of Drug Abusers Act. As a social worker, you have the opportunity to work with the individual at the center. Your work as a social worker is highly meaningful and multifaceted, as you will work in dialogue with the client to find the best solution for the individual in question. Your work as a social worker may include activating cases, investigating concern reports/applications, conducting assessments, making decisions, and following up on interventions. You work based on applicable legislation and available knowledge support. In our municipality, we strive to provide the individual with an integrated care chain as much as possible locally. To succeed with this, we cooperate with other stakeholders within and outside the municipality. QUALIFICATIONS Basic requirements for the position: A degree in Social Work with experience in social work and/or authority enforcement, and you must be well familiar with the Social Services' area of responsibility and legislation. The position requires that you have very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, and that you possess a B driver's license for a manual transmission vehicle. You quickly absorb new knowledge and use your experience in a flexible manner. You are attentive and take action on unresolved problems. You strive to establish credibility, trust, and build cooperation with people at different levels in the municipality. You are stable, confident, and stress-resistant in a complex and sometimes pressured environment. Desirable qualifications: Professional experience working with substance abuse and addiction. Training in MI, Signs of Safety, and ASI. Experience working in the VIVA system. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment form: Permanent position.
