Do you want to lead the work of planning robust traffic solutions in dense urban environments in one of Sweden's largest and most complex railway projects, Göteborg-Borås? As responsible for traffic solutions during construction, you will have a strategic role in this exciting infrastructure project. Work Tasks We are currently working on railway plans along the entire Göteborg-Borås stretch, and have begun planning for the upcoming production phase. Significant portions of the stretch will be built in metropolitan areas, where existing infrastructure will be affected during the construction period. The role involves ensuring traffic planning and design of temporary traffic solutions before and during the construction phase. You create conditions for good accessibility during the construction phase for all modes of transport affected by Göteborg-Borås. The responsibility primarily covers traffic flow for road traffic but also includes unprotected road users and some railway traffic. Your work tasks include: working together with the assignment consultants during the railway planning phase to ensure that robust temporary traffic solutions are enabled within the railway plans supporting the projects in dialogue with municipalities and other stakeholders to find functional temporary traffic solutions contributing to setting clear requirements for upcoming contractors for good traffic flow during the construction phase being the program's contact with other operational areas within the Swedish Transport Administration regarding traffic-impacting measures We offer a responsible role with many contact points where you together with your colleagues have the opportunity to participate in one of Sweden's largest infrastructure projects. Qualifications Who Are You? The function is newly established and therefore requires that you work independently with strong ability to plan and structure your work. The work involves many contact points both internally and outside the Swedish Transport Administration, so we see that you are comfortable communicating and collaborating well with both colleagues and other groups and functions. You are also analytical and solution-oriented and see the bigger picture and connections in complex issues. We are looking for someone who has relevant experience in traffic planning for roads where you work with planning ahead of road diversions, or ahead of road reconstruction, including optimization measures relevant experience working with traffic during the construction phase a university/college degree of at least 180 credits (120 points) in civil engineering/road and water engineering, or other education combined with experience that we collectively assess as equivalent very good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing a driver's license for cars It is a merit if you have experience working on large and complex road and/or railway projects in urban environments experience reviewing traffic management plans based on applicable regulations knowledge of the Swedish Transport Administration's regulations and handbooks within the road traffic field experience coordinating and dialoguing on, for example, traffic solutions or similar matters with relevant authorities, municipalities, and other stakeholders Other Information Would you like a flexible workday with the opportunity to work from home?
