You will be responsible for and coordinate the municipality's accounting, financial statements, annual reports, and reporting. You will prepare texts and notes for four-month reports, interim reports, and annual reports, and ensure that accounting complies with applicable laws, regulations, and good accounting practice (K3). You will serve as a support to operations on accounting matters by guiding, supporting, and providing advice on finance-related issues. The role also involves close collaboration with other departments, municipal companies, auditors, and external stakeholders. Furthermore, you will participate in developing and improving routines, processes, and systems within the financial area and perform other tasks related to the accounting field. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: A degree in business economics or equivalent higher education, or alternatively experience considered equivalent At least 5 years of experience with qualified accounting work and proficiency in the entire closing process Experience producing annual reports according to K3 A good understanding of accounting principles and regulations Documented experience driving and developing processes within the financial area Very good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written It is meritorious if you: Have experience from municipal or other public sector activities Have worked in a politically governed organization Have worked with Municipalities' Accounting Summary to SCB Have very good Excel skills Have experience driving development and change work within the accounting area Who are you? Furthermore, you are solution-oriented and curious, and feel comfortable developing and improving work methods.
