WORK TASKS As an installation worker, you will work with both repairs, maintenance, and renewal of the municipality's water and wastewater pipeline network - both planned work and emergency interventions. The position is practical and varied, with a focus on pipefitting and installation work. Main responsibilities: • Install, repair, and maintain the municipal water and wastewater pipeline network according to current standards and regulations • Perform troubleshooting and repairs for operational disruptions, such as flooding, sewage blockages, and water leaks • Replace valves, service lines, and inspection chambers • Work planning and preparation • Perform risk assessments and follow safety measures according to the workplace safety plan • Document operational disruptions and interventions in management systems You may also assist with: • Valve maintenance • Installation and replacement of water meters • Flushing and video inspection of sewage lines • Other tasks related to operations and maintenance On-call duty may be part of the position, which may also include snow removal and anti-icing measures. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • Education in construction and installation and practical experience from the installation industry, or someone who has acquired their expertise through extensive professional experience • Ability to read and interpret drawings, technical documents, and specifications • Good computer skills - you have experience working digitally and are proficient in the Office suite, and you learn new operational and monitoring systems quickly • Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form is required • Class B driver's license is required It is advantageous if you have: • Experience in pipefitting • Experience in operations, maintenance, and/or projects in the water and wastewater industry • BE or C driver's license, YKB, wheel loader operator certification • License for PE pipe welding • Other relevant education and certifications for the business, such as Hot work, work on roads, and safe excavation.
