As of July 1, there is a legal requirement for municipalities to have strengthened services for people who care for or support relatives. The support can include individual conversations, conversation groups, training, and information initiatives. As a family support consultant, you will be part of building up the activities. You will, among other things: Develop strategies, action plans, and guidelines in the field Develop collaboration between activities and with the region, civil society, and other actors Support managers and key people in integrating the family perspective into activities Contribute to forms of dialogue and participation together with family members Lead groups, provide information and training initiatives, arrange activities for family members, and conduct individual support conversations Some evening service work will occur. There may be some opportunity for remote work and work during commute time if and when the activities allow. The position will involve building up activities and creating relationships/collaboration, which is preferably done on-site. YOUR COMPETENCE We are looking for you if you want to work with people who need various types of support. Collaborating with those we serve and with various partners is something you see as natural and essential. You are independent and structured in your work and take responsibility for your tasks. You have the ability to drive development and think innovatively. You also have the ability to adapt your work when conditions change. We are looking for someone with relevant university education such as social worker, behavioral scientist, or other education that is deemed appropriate. You need to have good knowledge of legislation within social services and health and medical care. You should have broad experience with and knowledge of different target groups such as persons with disabilities, mental health issues, harmful use and addiction, children, and the elderly. You should also have experience meeting family members with good understanding of their situation. It is positive if you have experience implementing change processes and/or project management. You have good knowledge of society's functions and find it easy to seek the information required. You express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish. If you have additional language skills, please indicate this in your application. REQUIREMENTS Category B driver's license Relevant university education Experience in social work For this position, you must provide a valid extract from the Police's criminal record register before employment.
