ETG has 3 year levels with a maximum of 30 students per class, where all students study the Electrical & Energy Program with a specialization in Electrical Engineering. The education is university-preparatory and conducted in purpose-built and modern facilities. The vocational pathways at the school include installation, industry, communications, and safety. In close collaboration with the industry and businesses, the school has developed a unique educational program. Students can, through the opportunity to obtain vocational certifications, enter the job market directly. Your Responsibilities You will teach vocational students in Swedish, as well as history and/or religious studies at the upper secondary level in a university-preparatory program. In addition to teaching, you will also plan, assess, grade, and be instrumental in developing subject instruction. Mentoring of 15 students is included in the position. Your Profile We are looking for someone who is either a trained and certified subject teacher with credentials in Swedish, history, and/or religion, or whose teacher studies are ongoing and will be completed soon. Alternatively, you have other relevant education and experience. As a teacher at ETG, you will be involved in the education of all 90 students at some point during their 3 years at ETG. You will be part of a cohesive teaching staff where members help each other and work in an interdisciplinary manner, while you will be responsible for driving subject development. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is relational, collaboration-oriented, and organized. You should have good computer skills and the ability to learn new digital programs.
